Two very disparate pieces of writing have gotten my attention this week.

1. The Catch (2025); Yrsa Daley- Ward writes about inhabiting a female body. Wrapped in a phenomenologically transparent narrative that feels snug, vaguely familiar, and raw and relational tales both dreamlike and nightmarish.
2. Tangle, a political newsletter helmed by Isaac M. Saul. He often receives death threats for his attempts at balancing the American news experience by towing the fragile line of truth while generating engrossing prose that some find hate inducing while others feel o spired toward more personal clarity.
