Author Talks

The work of writing is only the beginning of a book’s journey.

Around 2010 I started a transgressive writing class that enforced and enhanced my penchant for libidinal transparency. Since we met every week we had a chance to get to know the work of the people attending the group. The very act of bringing in new work each week was thrilling because having an audience opened the door for another level of authenticity to come through the text.

Media and Communications help develop the impact of a piece of writing.

After leaving the class I enrolled in a masters program in Switzerland that centered on communications and media. There I began to perform pieces whose narratives gravitated toward the nexus of taboo and trauma. Ultimately they offered an experience of sensuality as subtext to the historical perspective of childhood libidinal alterity.

Over the last ten years I’ve developed a thesis through a ph.d program in philosophy that explores the phenomenology of embodiment through media and communications.

Consanguinity Disruptus came out of the research and practice of confronting and developing an alchemy of libidinal trauma metabolization.

While living in Peru I made some videos to supplement Consanguinity.

I’ll be conducting online sessions with groups who want to build awareness of their work and develop media that contributes to a better understanding of their work for their audiences. We’ll also design author brands to help carry your work over the trajectory of several properties with the aid of consistent tone and messaging.
