Libidinal Authenticity

“Better” in the ephemeral sense is a broad term for lessening psychic pain. Once you’ve fought enough psychic battles to reclaim your libidinal authenticity and you get a feel for what it’s like to be the author of your own desire, the term “best” no longer exists as a reality. There is no pinnacle of achievement for sexual healing other than a personal interest in claiming the organic terrain of vitality in this moment. To be vital is to grasp what is essential and embrace it now without a need to control the outcome. The human sexual imperative in particular invites a heightened sense of climactic conclusion. It’s cinematic in a way.

Cinematic Equations

Ironically to initiate an agenda when approaching sexual engagement is to thwart the possibility of pleasure in its physical as well as intellectual forms yielding a flattening out of desire.

These elements could just as well stand in for the structure of a performance. The hero begins the journey, conflict ensues with two antagonists making an appearance, and a denouement, the failure to launch.
